Were the contractors employees of Dyncorp? I can't seem to find any news organization that it publishing who their employer was.
She will become the next president, replacing Uribe the asshole.
FARC story inaccuracy[edit]
The 3 americans were only in captivity since 2003 (or about 5 years). Betancourt was held since February 2002. The other 11 had not been in for exactly 6 years either, in all likelihood. So this story is sort of misleading. --Filll (talk) 17:41, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
Still not sure[edit]
Betancourt was held more than 6 years (almost 6.5 years). The US contractors were held about 5 years. As for the other 11, it is not clear how long they were held but some might have been held for far longer, since the FARC has some prisoners that have been held much much longer than 6 years.--Filll (talk) 16:26, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
