I've just read the intro and I want to read the whole thing, but busy. Looks like this is a good one too. --Brian McNeil / talk 19:21, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for this David (&Ingrid). Animal rights needs this kind of media coverage! Wikidsoup 22:34, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

PETA are hypocrites[edit]

You should have brought up the little controversy over them tossing dead cats in a dumpster near their headquarters. I love animals, but PETA doesn't represent me and my bleeding-heart liberalism. --TUFKAAP 21:00, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Penn Jillette brought up many important issues on his show. I would have prefered to have those specific criticisms discussed than the blanket "how do you respond to criticism". So much coddling of the interviewee and so much opinion being taken as fact. Much of this interview is frankly obscene.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.5.254.102 (talk) 21:44, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

None of these interviews exist to "take on" an interviewee, but simply to present their point of view. We don't ask for these to spar with the person we are interviewing, whether it be right-wingers like Sam Brownback and Tom Tancredo or left-wingers like Evan Wolfson or Craig Unger. The point of these interviews is to record views, not try to prove their own views wrong or fallacious. --David Shankbone 22:08, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think so. You at least asked the politicians pointed questions about things they said. This is hagiography in comparison, but perhaps you don't perceive your own bias? Mpls 05:54, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It always comes down to one's own perspective when they read the article. Newkirk thought I brought up a lot of criticism, and even became annoyed at one point. People who don't like a person or organization really just want them torn apart. People who like a person don't want to see anything negative said to them. --David Shankbone 05:59, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This article is why ignorant people (animals) should not have money.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.196.73.97 (talk) 02:49, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Amazing interview![edit]

Ingrid is an amazing person & PETA is one of the best animal rights group who is working really hard to make this earth a better place for all beings. Great work PETA! My special thanks to HBO & Wiki for supporting PETA. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 122.164.234.67 (talkcontribs)
