The US has refused to sign? I see... It seems that "there are no homosexuals" in the US too. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 85.241.108.207 (talkcontribs)

I will always be surprised by how people can be stupid when they care about something that is not their business. Simply because they don't accept that same gender people can fall in love for each other, they feel themselves obligated to express their hate thanks to laws. >.< Diti (talk to the penguin) 09:43, 21 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Human norms[edit]

The Vatican opposes this because it "challenges existing social norms". Yeah, because humanity has never gotten used to cars, airplanes, the service sector economy, multiculturalism, air conditioning, or longer life spans. --79.74.190.172 13:56, 21 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know why I'm having trouble believing this. I'm just glad the world can see us clumped together with the same countries we ridicule internationally for every reason. We don't support change, and neither do they.24.30.16.34 15:59, 21 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Exactly. There are few things better than a society, culture or nation looking itself on the mirror. Then we realize that we have no authority of whatever kind to give lessons on civilization. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 85.241.109.143 (talkcontribs)

What I'm actually finding most ironic is the Vatican and the Islamic nations opposing rights for homosexuals at the same time (let's not pretend the Vatican actually cares about homosexual rights). --Poisonous (talk) 16:59, 21 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
