Reminds me of the old saying "too many chiefs, not enough Indians".

Yeah, so slap another supranational government on the African continent. THAT will help. 128.210.124.120 (talk) 01:07, 16 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

We need smaller countries, not larger.

Some African countries too small to continue to exist independently[edit]

yeah ... i agree on this issue raised by mobile tycoon mr . ibrahim ..

he is not actually pointing out the poorness or illness of african countries, one has rethink about the situations of many african countries.if we consider the natural resources of african countries they are the richest in the world,bt what to happend to people there? they are constantly been robbed by the developed, develping countries. And africa is facing the affects and effect of people of these countries and becoming poorer and poorer and poorer and poorer. all the natural resources are being smuggled in or oter ways to these countries very cheaply ..

its time to wake up peoples of african countries .. if they stand together world will be at their feet..

then question come how will they stand together? being of 53 small countries .. all the local politicians should meet regular basis and make some principles like europian union or SWAT. so that there will be some improvement in their conditions of the people

Weel, Ithink also that he was taking about the economic side not the poltical, and, if i can say my point of you, I'm totally agree with him. Many african countries should colaborate with each other, to Survive, and to be outpointed in the economic world's map. Some or if i say many of these countries have the richest material like gold, like diamon, but they're the poorest, How can this happen?! Africa has many steps to overcome, to be in that developpement we live these days.

God Bless Africa, God bless Ghana. i find it really hard to understand why most countries in africa still struggle economically. for an example, the change of currency in ghana was a really lame move. i dont not know who brought that idea. although i did not major in economics, i simply know that trying to equate the ghana currency to dollar would eventually fail and not only fail, but fail drastically. now that the new currency has already depreciated value more than 35% when compared to the american dollar in less than 3 years, what do we feel , the deflation would be in the next 20 years. God bless africa. i know i owe africa something in the future, and i pray to God that, he should give me the wisdom, judgement, courage and solutions to contribute to the betterment of africa. amen
