A Necessary Evil[edit]

It is unfortunate that it had to come to this but extremists taking control of Northern Areas and increase in suicide bombings as well as activist judges trying to govern the country rather than uphold the rule of law,Musharraf had no choice. In order to restore the rule of law these necessary emergency steps needed to be taken and were taken.Don't get me wrong return to democracy is of primary importance but so are the lives of Pakistanis and their security is rapidly deteriorating which needs to be safeguarded.--71.255.245.101 16:48, 5 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Musharraf[edit]

General Musharraf should show respect for the Supreme Court of Pakistan now. Otherwise the world would not show respect for Musharraf.Jaime Saldarriaga. Nov 7 2007.
