no. the 1976 Bucs were.

They are close. If they keep the streak going into next season, I will GLADLY call them the worst team ever. DWolf2k2 (talk) 02:15, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Detroit Lions Sucked Even Worse Than The Buccaneers Did In 1976 And Since Then, The Lions Have Been The Worst Thing That Has Ever Happened To The NFL

This was all destined to happen. Matt Millen should have been fired after 3 years, not 8. Reading up on the Bucs and Lions, though, the Bucs were way worse. They lost 5 shut-outs and were just horrific.

These 0-16 Detroit Lions, gotta feel sorry for them, no one wants that to happen to anybody, I hate to say it but it is the worst ever sadly and you have to feel sorry for them as well. If they keep this up their name will be changed to from "Detroit Lions" to the "Imperfecion 0-16'ers" if ya get my drift, or maybethey can go 16-0 next year who knows. Anyway Lets hear the Lions Roar for success next year: meow.71.236.33.150 08:21, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

yes, they are the worst team ever and have been for quite a long time —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.39.249.134 (talkcontribs)

The Lions make my son's Pop Warner football team look like the '72 Dolphins —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.166.175.146 (talkcontribs)

Get some balls and play without full combat armour. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 13:16, 2 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
What do American Football players get on their SATs?

stop sounding like a bunch of fucking fruits talking about "armour" and "honour" or some bullshit. i think you guys should open a window, get some fresh air, get off the computer/wikipedia and maybe talk to a woman.

The Best![edit]

I think that the Lions are the best at what they do......losing. I used to love watching the Lions play, at least until Barry Sanders quit.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 205.215.210.10 (talkcontribs)

yea—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 76.124.229.31 (talkcontribs)

what is this for. its obvious[edit]

the statistics show that the 2008-09 Lions are the worst team in NFL history. 0-16. Who is worse? What I find funny is that they are in Detroit, where the Big 3 are failing. The city is a complete failure. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by POTUS270 (talkcontribs) 01:07, 4 February 2009

Wow... just...[edit]

Aad to think Detroit's Baseball team almost won the World Series in 2006. At least the Miami Dolphins won a game the preceding year. Detroit... it's like they didn't even try. May as well become the Detroit Pussycats, or better yet, the Detroit Pussies, because that's ALL they are.

Were the 2008 Lions the worst team in NFL history?[edit]

Yes because they let a lot of chances to win go to 0-16. In week 6 the QB just run into the endzone for a safety and the Vikings won 12-10 with the safety its a game into OT. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.168.70.2 (talk) 18:10, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
