What does this mean for China... Is there steps that will be taken for doing this or is'nt it the fact & the freedom of choice to suite what is best for the REPUBLIC OF CHINA... who can judge what has been done if has been done already? This link will Explain it much better. [Born Free & Equal]

Just to clarify on the allegedly faked fireworks - the part in question here was the footprints that marched towards the stadium. It seems that the firework did indeed take place (as some tourists/Chinese nationals caught it on tape and the videos are posted on YouTube [1]). However, it was deemed unsafe for helicopter crews to fly too close to the fireworks (information based on words of mouth, may need source to confirm that this is the official government response), and hence digital imaging was used to enhance the experience for viewers at home and those who are watching the big TV in the stadium. Can someone with a better grasp of Wikipedia editing procedures make changes to the article to better reflect this fact? As from the article at the moment it seems to suggest to readers that some of the fireworks did not happen at all. 99.247.16.231 06:10, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I under stand the faking of the fireworks, but how can't China find a little girl that is both cute and can sing. The nation has 1.3 billion people.--KDP3 (talk) 15:14, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
