Went saturday, thought the show was poor in comparison to UASF Riat show of 2007, did not seem as many aircraft there, flying display I thought was poor, did not flow, overall disappointed. Probably will not attend next year.

First time at RIAT on Sunday. Very poor. Reasonable static display but the flying was dull, apart from the Italians and the Vulcan. I know the weather wasn't altogether brilliant but I was at Leuchars last year with a 300ft cloud ceiling and the display there was far superior to this one. There were no multiship jet displays, no RAF and ony two USAF flights, the F18 and the B52.

I had high hopes from the Navy's 60th celebrations but I'm sorry, a gaggle of mixed helicopters, a few hawks and a couple of harriers faffing over the runway in a straight balbo does not an airshow make.

Travelled over 500 miles to see "The best military airshow in the world". Hmm, don't think I'll bother again. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.114.25.220 (talk) 17:15, 20 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
