Love it. However, I do hope people will buy the car with airbags.

What will they replace?[edit]

One would hope that these will replace the 2-stroke auto-rickshaws and aging Ambassadors. Unfortunately, the critics are probably right in that they will replace bicycles and 125cc motorcycles, leading to further pollution, noise, and traffic congestion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.45.136.225 (talk) 12:31, 24 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I would expect a push for these to replace rickshaws and the like as in-city taxis. It will mean more people in India can afford a car, and there will be more traffic; that will be a headache for the Indian government, and with so many in the west driving huge gas-guzzlers we really can't criticise them. --Brian McNeil / talk 12:40, 24 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
A co-worker of mine is from Bombay. He predicts traffic will come to such a stand-still that he can walk faster than automobile traffic next time he visits home. --SVTCobra 23:02, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nano Car[edit]

Although some say that small is better, I do not support the fact that there is a lack of safety in the car. Knowing the world, it will be a "great technological advance that will forever help the lower class in affording transportation", but in a few years, there will be wrecks, people will die, and everyone will be so ticked off and say it's an abomination and it should be destroyed, etc. So will it advance or hinder society? We can only see when this piece of technology is released for a few years. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 168.169.88.10 (talk) 13:02, 24 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The pollution problem is not very nice to here. India has sooooo many people and if more people buy cars more pollution wil be produced. I think they should make this car run on electricty, solar, or air. But of course would make it more expensive. :(

The safety of this car is not very good either. NO AIRBAGS, that is scary!!!!! :O Maybe because it not very safe that is why is less expensive.

All in all I think this car is just another way to make money without careing for the people who drive it or the damage it will cause to the Earth. :( —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.176.171.19 (talk) 15:24, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cost of the car[edit]

The cost is not exactly 100000 rupees.Infact when it is sold in the markets lot of other charges add up and the Purchasing price increases to about 1.12 lac.Thats the cheapest nano model. The cosliest is 1.85 lac —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.93.24.245 (talk) 12:38, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I LIKE IT[edit]

Wow, 2,000 dollars. That's like an expensive go-kart. I wonder if the country club would let me ride it on their golf course. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.103.191.187 (talk) 22:01, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting article. This car is about as big as the Smart car. I am shocked that this car does not have any airbags. I am wondering how it passed inspection. I thought all cars needed to have some type of airbags. P!nkPolkaDots (talk) 01:30, 12 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Rental[edit]

This is a wonderful opinion. The things mentioned are unanimous and needs to be appreciated by everyone. It’s perfect thought from my side.
