English: Still from video footage obtained by The Guardian showing the aftermath of what appears to be a police assault on Ian Tomlinson in London, 1 April 2009. The video was shot by an investment fund manager from New York who passed it to the newspaper. He relinquished his copyright and wanted it to be distributed freely. The Guardian confirmed this by e-mail.
