Fire in Hospital in Costa Rica kills 18 persons

Early this morning a fire erupted in the Rafael Angel Calderón Guardia hospital in downtown San Jose, Costa Rica, killing 18 people according to official reports. Most of the deaths occurred on the 5th floor, where patients were resting following surgical procedures.
A nurse died trying to save patients.
