An eathquake with a magnitude of 5.2 has struck at the coast just north of French Guiana. The earthquake struck 770 miles North East of Cayenne, the capital of French Guiana.
The earthquake occurred on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, which is a continental ridge that stretches through much of the Atlantic and Arctic oceans.
The earthquake, which struck 1050 miles away from Belem in Brazil occurred at 23:29:52 UTC yesterday.
