Proposal[edit]

It has been proposed to merge some of the information from Tsunami Help/Ground Zero Information into this page, and allowing the other to age. Some possible ways of doing that is expanding the {{IOTongoingnews}} template to have sections for the various countries and topic areas.

  • Is this a good idea?
  • What would be some of the ways to do this without overwhelming the page format?

Merging or linking, either way sounds fine to me. But I see that the page is informative, and has general news value. It is currently removed from Tsunami Help navigation table, but we should make use of it in one way or another. Tomos 04:02, 3 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Comments[edit]

'wave sets' (http://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Template:IOTsections) this is a confusing technical term, if in fact it is one at all. rephrase? Onymous 81.217.21.244 13:49, 9 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Tsunamis are wave sets, not a single wave. But agree it may confusing, jargon. Suggestions for a rephrase? - Amgine 18:13, 9 Jan 2005 (UTC)
