Two categories ?

the version of dpl currently installed on Wikinews does not support logical OR selection. the latest version does but has not been installed so far on Wikinews. –Doldrums(talk) 14:00, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

i'm guessing dpl doesn't allow parserfunctions in its parameters and is ignoring the category parameter. the outputs with date category set using #time is identical to that with a blank category parameter, whereas a hard coded date category gives the right output. –Doldrums(talk) 15:42, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

DPL only works with some old time variables {{CURRENTMONTHNAME}} etc. Bawolff ☺☻ 20:58, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

Easy fix, no category for date?

So if I remove the category specified for the date, will it just pick the first 7 most recently published entries from category "published" ? Wilhelm 15:45, 11 January 2008 (UTC).
