Translation[edit]

I am going off line: so I hope someone finishes before I return. --InfantGorilla (talk) 05:40, 25 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have made a rough translation, fact checked, and added a lead paragraph.

Feel free to make any final tweaks and slap a review tag on the article: I am going off line again.

Review of revision 1050175 [Failed][edit]

Interesting comments, Caleb.

  1. I added six sources (2 in the sources table, plus 4 detailed match reports in the results section, all in English.) If you count Grondin's report in French as reporters notes, that is seven sources in total. I didn't watch the match, but I was able to verify most of Grondin's facts against English match reports, so I think it more than meets our verifiability standards.
  2. Please suggest a new headline. I liked the choice of the original author to use Italian.
  3. The original French was in quite a literary style. I simplified it a good deal, and rewrote sentences from passive to active voice, as well as adding a lead to approximate pyramid style. On re-reading after a night's sleep, a couple of sentences sound a little clumsy, and I will tweak them, but I hope I have left a little of the spirit of Grondin's original.
  4. Could others chip in and improve the style, please?
