Talk:ABC comes under fire for alleged partisan slant in 9/11 miniseries
Highly biased - Moveon.org is not notable in its own sense, and where is the reporting on the other side, criticising ABC for folding under pressure? This article violates WMF's NPOV policy. (preceding unsigned comment by 188.8.131.52 03:59, 9 September 2006)
Furthermore, all complaints seem to be coming from people with a vested interest in maintaining their personal reputation. Is there some way we can note this without violating NPOV in the other direction?(preceding unsigned comment by 184.108.40.206 16:32, 9 September 2006)
I totally agree with this. This article is very biased, ABC is only being pressured by the liberal internet blogs and small PSAs put out by Clinton and staff. Bias is everywhere in the media, only when it is against the left does someone say something. I am trying to be neutral here but this is just ridiculous that a miniseries like this gets ridiculed but some reports by say ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN don't? Sorry for my rant, I don't want an article praising or ridiculing the miniseries, I just want some neutrality here. It is a news source after all.(preceding unsigned comment by 220.127.116.11 03:52, 11 September 2006)
- The article seems to be reporting on the fact that ABC is being criticised by these groups and individuals, not on the content of the miniseries itself, so I think neutrality is being maintained as long as the article keeps from portraying one viewpoint or another as "right." I couldn't find sources reporting on the series with an opposite view so far, apart from the ABC/Disney spokesman already cited, but if any other Wikinewsies find some I'd like to see them added to this article.
- As for the other reports you mention, they are unrelated to this article, but you or anyone else is more than free to start work on a new article about them.
- Of course, any reporting on the series itself will have to wait until the thing has aired. Rob T Firefly 14:57, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
