Maybe there are some academic journo types here who are experts in this stuff, but this headline should probably be putting 'wounded' in, well, quotes. If you don't, aren't you claiming that wikinews or its wire sources has directly established that al-Zarqawi is wounded?

heh, well thank you for taking my hyper-sensitivity serious. But I think the quotes are not necessary now since you've inserted 'reported'. The BBC, for example, is quite found of stating a headline as a fact "Zaqawi 'wounded'" This keeps headlines short! The single quotes make it clear it is a quote.
At this point, I like the single quotes, but a second move will break the forwards and I haven't had a chance yet to fix the links, and it is not specifically harmful to leave as is, so I will.
