Talk:Barcelona defeat Manchester United in 2009 Champions League Final

OR notes [edit]
Watched the entire match on ESPN, live. Calebrw (talk) 22:33, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
This claim of OR brings to the fore the unresolved discussion at Wikinews:Water_cooler/policy/Archive/18#OR_and_Broadcast_report. Why is this OR when it seems that any and all of it can verifiably sourced? Watching something on TV doesn't seem that special, it is already filtered by whomever is broadcasting it. --SVTCobra 23:42, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
- I agree, and have removed the tag (revert me if you disagree though). As I said at the water cooler discussion regarding this, I believe OR should be information obtained first-hand, not something that is taken from another news source (which this is). Watching the event on telly means that it is filtered for you, so it is already some form of a publication. Tempodivalse [talk] 23:51, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

Please note that I got some information from w:UEFA Champions League 2009–10. Thanks. Calebrw (talk) 22:33, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
- Can {{Broadcast report}} be removed? Is everything (save the UEFA stats/fact from WP) sourced now? --SVTCobra 23:38, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
