This content needs to be verified (for instance, the IP originating this title belongs to a pool for Comcast users, making it very suspicious to me to be verified or even correct of being from a correspondant in the area). Please view the style guide on how to format articles on Wikinews, and please cite your sources. Thanks. --MrMiscellaniousHappy Hanukkah17:37, 27 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Username not working[edit]

My username 'Wikizach' for some reason is not working when I do the four ~ things.

This username isn't even registered. —MESSEDROCKER (talk) 02:39, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I am sorry. I did not know that I had to register my name in all Wiki sites. It works on Wikipedia, but not here, sorry for the confusion. Wikizach 03:00, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I'm still concerned as to why you are reportedly in the region currently, but are using a Comcast IP to access this site. AFAIK, Comcast doesn't serve either countries. --MrMiscellaniousHappy Hanukkah17:14, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I am using a special connection to my home in Atlanta, which yes, is provided by Comcast.

For veracity sake, I'd like to ask you to please post a message via your local connection (and not through a VNC setup/tunnel) in the region. --MrMiscellaniousHappy Hanukkah22:16, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Title[edit]

For starters, the title needs to be far more precise. X vs Y conflict isn't unique enough, a news report needs to be specific down to a conflict near a border town or area. in some way that means we won't have a headline clash. Brian McNeil / talk 22:00, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Developing[edit]

This is currently disputed due to questions over the veracity of the sources. Until that is resolved, the article should remain {{developing}}. Please refer to the Original reporting guidelines and add an original reporting section to this talk page that would also allow others to update the page from your notes. Wikipedia[edit]

Wikipedia has tons of sources. We can probably afford to post the article with any OR, so long as its clearly marked. However, we may also have been scooped enough to allow deleting the OR tag. Nyarlathotep 20:10, 7 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
