I kind of like the wacky logo. Noclip — did you have a reason for the change of logo? -- IlyaHaykinson 02:50, 24 Mar 2005 (UTC)

I was looking at the logo modification voting page and it hit me, "That'd be perfect for Wackynews!" ("Be bold" and all?) --Noclip 03:03, 24 Mar 2005 (UTC)
If we were to use the "organic" Wikinews logo, the text underneath would have to be modified to read "Wackynews".
However, the "stars and scribbling" logo is a bit more wacky than the distorted Wikinews logo, in my opinion. — DV 04:48, 24 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Noclip — I didn't mean to suggest that it wasn't right of you to be bold. It just might have been nice to comment about your change on the talk page when you changed it. :-) But I'm in DV's camp on this one: the starry wacky logo seems more appropriate to this category than the stretched/twisted world logo. I like the stretch/twist image, but it seems to be laden with more meaning than the current wacky logo. -- IlyaHaykinson 08:08, 24 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Satire new for wackynews[edit]

is it ok to write Satire news like http://www.chaser.com.au/ and CNNNN I would love to write some. Satire news facts are often incorrect and silly. Maybe a one of those warning stubs or whatever could be developed. It would also be great to work with others doing it and i cant think of anywhere that give you that opportunity I hope you guys approve --Whywhywhy 10:57, 20 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I'm afraid that is impossible under the current concept. Satire, by poking fun on someone, necessarily violates the NPOV principle. But UnNews might be something for. --Deprifry|+T+ 11:02, 20 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Is Wackynews NPOV?[edit]
