Talk:Danish PM pushes for new referendum on euro

[edit] Notes
- Some of the history of referendums and agreements was gleaned from Wikipedia
- I translated the following statement from Danish myself:
Hvis der kom en afstemning, så ville jeg stemme ja. Men jeg synes, at det er dumt at tage en afstemning, uden at vi først har haft en ordentlig debat. Vi har ikke haft en debat i otte år, og alle argumenter trænger til at blive prøvet af.
If there was a vote, then I would vote Yes. But I am of the opinion that it is stupid to hold a vote unless we first have a real debate. We haven't had a debate in eight years and all arguments need to be tested.
I had to go outside English sources to find someone who wasn't rubber-stamping the euro. The only other thing that is sourced from the Danish language article is the simple fact that Rasmussen is meeting with other political leaders and that one particular party (SF) could be the bellwether. I hope these notes will make it easier for the reviewer. --SVTCobra 01:25, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
