The number of deaths rose since this article was published at Wikinews. Proposed update:
The death of Angel Babcock, an Indiana toddler found in a New Pekin, Indiana field after the storm, raised the confirmed deaths from Friday to 39 people on top of 13 more from the storm on Wednesday.
