[edit] Should we mention that we tried to talk to him before he died?
Both Brian and I tried to get an interview with him in 2008, with assurances that we would eventually speak to him, but ill health prevented it in the end. Should this be mentioned in the article? Mike Halterman (talk) 01:53, 18 July 2009 (UTC)

- I wouldn't call it self promoting. it might have been his last interview before his death. If a little research could be done to see when the last one he did was, I would not see an issue. Would not matter to me either way though. DragonFire1024 (Talk to the Dragon) 02:06, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
- But it wasn't his last interview ... and "would have been"? How can we know if other people also had asked for interviews and were also waiting for his health to get better? I really think it is better to not mention it at all, but definitely don't call it the "would-be last interview". --SVTCobra 02:14, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
