a spokeswoman for the Omaha police Department just said there were 9 deaths, including the shooter. The only known information about the shooter is that he is a male. The shooting was kept to the Von Maur store. Stop adding emerging information[edit]
This article has become a mess. Clearly new articles should have been started instead of adding to this. A bunch of stuff will have to be removed already, so don't add any more "updates". Furthermore the description of the weapon in reference to the assault weapons ban is irrelevant, the weapon should have been simply identified as an AKM 7.62 x 39mm Semi-Automatic rifle.
