This is false and misleading. The band wasn't recording when Syd showed up, they were mixing. Also, it implies the band spontaneously composed a tribute upon seeing Syd arrive.
This little nugget of trivia about Pink Floyd is a tantalizing coincidence, but not seriously relevant.
I would like to change it to something like The album features Shine On You Crazy Diamond, with lyrics explicitly about Barrett's rise to fame and subsequent dissolution. Or something. --188.8.131.52 18:23, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
