What the "sealing of unauthorized" establishments entails should be made clear in this article. --Brian McNeil / talk 23:07, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A baby seal.
A baby seal.

Wikipedia sealing redirects to seal hunting. It is not a business term. (Well not in India anyway.) Please clarify: how will the businesses be closed, will the landowners be evicted, will property be confiscated, etc. As is the article is somewhat nonsensical. 74.134.236.69 03:07, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I read some sources, and encountered the same jargon... it seems that New Delhi introduced new retail regulations recently, resulting in unrest in the booming barter business. Those who normally man marketplaces have dispersed into impromptu protests and illicit private places of pawn. The latter of these surly shopkeepers shall be "sealed."

Sealed off? Where? The terminology still doesn't seem appropriate, but whatever.

"The Group is... comprised of" = bad grammar[edit]

Sentence should read "The Group of Ministers is headed by Home minister Shivraj Patil and comprises Law minister H R Bhardwaj, Delhi CM Sheila Dikhit, Union Urban Development minister S Jaipal Reddy and his deputy Ajay Makan."--121.223.133.227 (talk) 08:12, 15 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
