US Capitol Police messsage[edit]

Sourced from where? ShakespeareFan00 15:22, 26 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Text is posted on Drudge Report, but I can't seem to find it reproduced on any other sources. PSUMark2006 15:46, 26 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Whats a Go-Kits ?[edit]

"Police advised to grab a go_kit and personal belongings." What is a Go-Kit, who has one, who advised making them? --Mitrebox 15:43, 26 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Timeline?[edit]

It might be helpful once things start to settle down to compile a timeline of events that have occurred since 10:30 this morning so that we have some sort of order to the chronology being reported here. I'd start it up but I have to step away for a few hours. PSUMark2006 16:47, 26 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Whoever did the math for the UTC offset introduced a 1-hour factual error by making the classic mistake of forgetting that Washington D.C. (with most of the U.S. East cost) is saving daylight. See Wikinews:Water_cooler/technical#Daylight_saving_in_North_America to prevent future mistakes. Karen 22:38, 26 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Curious about the FOX News report[edit]

"FOX News reports a man with a gun was apprehended by Capitol police, but no confirmation has yet been made."

Many of the news sources including FOX News are now reporting that it was likely an air hammer. I was wondering if anyone knew where FOX got the info that a gunman had been apprehended; was it an interview with someone who was misinformed or was it speculation?

Style[edit]

Style of this article seems a bit off - looks more like a Wikipedia entry than a news article... I'm going to try and edit down. Frankie Roberto 11:48, 27 May 2006 (UTC). Done Frankie Roberto 12:05, 27 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
