So I was sitting in Mansueto, and it gets dark due to the thunderstorms. Some people start flipping their light switches, I do too. None of the lights were turning on. Eventually so many people were making clicking noises with their light switches that it became apparent that there was no power. Some people around me were also trying to charge their laptops, but that obviously didn't work. They even tried moving to different power outlets to see if only certain zones were out of power. Eventually a girl working at the circulation clerk said that the power was out. Some people got up and left, including me. But before I moved to the adjacent Regenstein Library, I asked a different girl working at the circulation desk whether the automated retrieval system was disabled. She said it was, showing me her computer screen, which was shut off. I then asked her when power was expected to return. She pointed out the electrician that had come in, but told me she wasn't sure when power would come back.

I hope these notes are sufficient! Happy editing, Ragettho (talk) 21:51, 28 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
