The sources section really really needs to be cleaned up. Especially the first link that seems to lead to some religious money request or whatever. MikeCapone 20:11, 30 Apr 2005 (UTC)

It at the bottom of that page, it comes from VOA. --Cspurrier 20:17, 30 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Dead source link

I suspect a lot of this article might come from somewhere near this link, which itself is dead. Maybe someone else can make it work. Dan100 (Talk) 22:19, 30 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Ne'er mind, I found it. Dan100 (Talk) 22:21, 30 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] How does this story end?

What do the unions expect to happen if they win? That the store will reopen as a non-profit charity?

The entire model of "Wal-Mart" does not permit fair compensation of its employees if the store is to be profitable. A business cannot be forced to operate at a loss.

Perhaps the onus is on consumers not to patronize non-union stores in the first place? As long as consumers mindlessly seek the lowest price regardless of the consequences, any boycott movement against Wal-Mart will not gain the support it needs to make this business model unprofitable wherever it springs up. — DV 22:50, 30 Apr 2005 (UTC)
