I have been primarily on en.wiki, where I have done new page patrol, recent change patrol,and evaluated articles. I also have reviewer and rollback privileges on that wiki. I have always found it difficult to contribute to that wiki, as I am more of a current event type person, and like focusing more on that then writing encyclopedic articles.

I have been watching Wikinews for a couple of weeks and think that I might have a better time here in news contribution then writing encyclopedic articles. I have been reading this wiki's policies and guidelines and watching news articles being created. I hope to gain enough of an understanding to start writing a few here in the next few days.

I am surprised that there isn't a bigger presence of articles in the Midwestern U.S. I hope to write articles for this area, and more specifically my home state of Indiana.
