On November 2, 1983, a micronation epublic of Molossiacalled the Republic of Molossia declared war on East Germany. The conflict was never resolved, so Molossia is at war with Ernst Thälmann Island, an East German island near Cuba. Molossian President Kevin Baugh claims that it is still part of East Germany. Prince Christopher I of the Principality of Vikesland, an ally country, went on behalf of Molossia to Ernst Thälmann Island during his vacation to Cuba. He surveyed the island gathering intelligence, such as finding a flag and imagining spies. Prince Christopher was awarded an East Germany War Medal by President Baugh.
