ABOUT ME

I am Allan Aguilar. I live in the main city of Desamparados, the most populated canton of Costa Rica. I am a purchases auditor on a personal higiene and health care company. I actively participate in politics, am dedicated to religious and liturgical activities, and promote computer encryption by distributing free software dedicated to personal privacy and anonymity.

I wish to contribute translating articles from the Spanish edition of Wikinews and writing some of my own.

I have a BA in Informatics and empirically have learned more about operating systems, dedicating myself to free software and GNU distributions. I am learning programming, so I have a very basic knowledge of Java. However, I know quite well the $\mathbf{L\!\!^{{}_{\scriptstyle A}} \!\!\!\!\!\;\; T\!_{\displaystyle E} \! X}$ code, from which I can possibly compensate my beginner level of programming languages​​.
