User:SportsBot
From Wikinews, the free news source you can write!
This is an automated bot to update various sports data for Wikinews. It is equipped with the almighty "bot flag", which hides it from the Special:Recentchanges page (though you can usually see it in action with the "Show Bots" link). The owner of this bot is Zachary (talk). Please direct any questions to Zachary's talk page (because unlike its cousin, WikinewsLinker, it cannot answer your greatest of questions.)

[edit] Miscellany
- My bot uses two edit summaries. The first is "Automatic update of standings", which signifies that it uses my ghetto standingsbot code. The second is "Automatic update of sports data", which signifies that it uses my shiny new sportsbot code.
- Source code for the sportsbot is available here.
- Now that the StandingsBot is a SportsBot, it is not limited to just standings table, but match results, playoff brackets, etc. as well.
- Logs available here: standingsbot.log, sportsbot.log
