[edit] Intentions

For several years I have written a monthly online newsletter - [At This Time [[1]] - presenting what is wrong in our society. Jon Stewart on the Daily Show pokes fun; I do serious critiques. I point out the dangers that we are facing by taking the course are. I illustrate graphically how bad decisions and actions look.

I cover all areas that make headlines.

I am very much against the biased reporting of the local and national newscasts. Although I don't ignore what they report. I have links to a few news organization on the web page. I have now added wikinews and wikipedia to the list.

When I add a new article on any particular topic or subject matter I will start a discussion with an open question. My contributions will be an extension to my monthly online newsletter - [At This Time[2]].

[edit] Me and Jon Stewart

Jon Stewart has been successful because he doesn't take sides. Although that doesn't stop some right wing commentaries to take shots at Jon Stewart's character and integrity. A man who works very hard preparing informative and entertaining fake reports that many fans feel are more accurate than their nightly newscasts. Jon and I do what the local and national newscasts should be doing - report on what is happening.

Recently Jon Stewart spun off the Daily Show with the Colbert Report. Former Daily Show fake reporter Stephen Corbert comments on the headlines and interviews newsmakers. In his own way, Stephen does what I do and that is reveal how backwards and heading in the wrong direction we are.

[edit] Doing what Pope Benedict should but won't

A man who said just after he don the papal robes he prayed not to be selected has stepped up to the plate and provided much needed guidance for the millions of Catholics around the world. Although some feel he is setting the church back by not changing the church's opinion on divorce, abortion, and women as priests.

The oldest religion is desperate to hang on to power over their worshippers. Even though is in the millions around the world, that number has been in steady decline. The church hasn't kept up with the times. Endorsing ideals and traditions that don't fit in our modern times.

Particularly now the Pope could be bringing us together. However is driving us further apart by insisting that hang onto ways of thinking not very realistic in this day and age.

I strive to do what the Pope doesn't want to do.
