Martin Luther King, Jr. was famous for speaking out against racial discrimination. He had a dream that people would not discriminate based on race. That dream was formed nearly forty years ago, and for the most part, I would say that the United States has worked hard on fighting racism. I think our country is, and has been on the right path to racial equality. However, there are major roadblocks in the way. There are quite a few outrageous laws and bills that are very racist. These laws are not racist toward black people as you may think at first, but white. There should be no laws discriminating toward one way or another.
