[edit] Babel templates

The babel templates are userboxes. The base babel template was being used to create a potentially offensive "joke" userbox. Rather than deal with the many issues currently eating up time and goodwill on en.WP I decided to remove all such templates from the Template namespace. I filed an RfAr against myself, but withdrew in favour of another RfAr filed against me. - Amgine | ^{talk en.WN} 16:41, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

Leaving a message to Amgine is not going to work, as the user left quite a while ago. I have changed your userbox. The userboxes in general though arn't used as the current system isn't that encouraging of them. Also, as SVTCobra said, please document throughly templates, or there is good odds they might get deleted. Please note that creating broken redirects to other templates will be deleted quite quickly. I also highly recommend you discuss importing templates from wikipedia at the water cooler unless they have an obvious important function (for wikinews).
