  • This article fails to clearly express the core of the story, and in the process conveys a misimpression of what is involved. It seems evident from the sources, the core of this story is that police have been trying to get media to hand over everything they've got without any formal procedure; the media say no, we want procedure followed, and things take off from there. But this article makes it sound as if the police have ordered them to turn the stuff over. Repairing this article difficulty would be far beyond what a reviewer could do while remaining sufficiently uninvolved for review.
  • This is, unfortunately, on the verge of staleness; so new information come to light would presumably be needed as part of an attempt to address the concerns.
  • Two of these sources (RT and SMH) appear to be essentially the same article.

  • Since there is only one recent source (the next two are seven days old) and the headline hasn't changed, I presume the news event is still the same one it was before — but that event is no longer mentioned in the lede. Reading the first few paragraphs of the article, it looks as if this is an article about a different event. Nor does it appear that the more recent event can be construed as new information come to light about the old one.
  • Since there is now only one source less than seven days old, it seem safe to say the original news event would surely be stale by the time this could possibly be rereviewed. It doesn't matter whether new information has come to light recently if the news event is no longer within a week. See WN:Article wizard/Freshness.
