Copyright change[edit]
Hi. The copyright change was rather drastic. Fair use images are allowed to be uploaded locally. CC-BY-NC images are allowed locally. Commons licenses are not always universal. Thus, all materials is inaccurate and changes copyright for images in violation of their licenses.--LauraHale (talk) 21:53, 20 October 2012 (UTC)
- "all materials is inaccurate", you say. That's what i say when i changed "all materials" in "all text". Did you read the history right? Let's check this first. --Itu (talk) 22:29, 20 October 2012 (UTC)
- To be clear (if there can be anything remotely clear amidst all this confusion), I did not revert the edit because I believe it to be wrong. I reverted it because it was a change that seemed like it might be quite significant, to text that has been in place with that wording for seven years (less about four days), without a clear explanation and without prior discussion. I'd like, and hope, to get opinions on it from one or two very-long-standing en.wn members before moving on it; if it's been that way for seven years, surely it can wait a bit for the sake of thoroughness. --Pi zero (talk) 22:56, 20 October 2012 (UTC)
