Welcome[edit]

Pmsyyz, welcome to Wikinews! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Our key policies - if you read anything, read these!

Here a few pointers to help you get to know Wikinews:

There are always things to do on Wikinews:

By the way, you can sign your name on Talk pages using four tildes (~~~~), which produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, you can ask them at the water cooler or to anyone on the Welcommittee, or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome! → CGorman (Talk) 14:59, 22 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Did you give up on this article? --SVTCobra 21:05, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No. Like it says in the article: "(to be published in late November)". --Pmsyyz 22:42, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have moved this story to WN:SP at Wikinews:Story preparation/50th Space Communications Squadron celebrates 55th anniversary. It cannot sit in the Newsroom under development for that long. Cheers and happy editing. --SVTCobra 01:33, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Please leave the {{prepare}} tag on. You can still continue to work on it. --SVTCobra 09:32, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It isn't prepared. It is still in development, and like the develop tag says, I'd like others to see it and contribute if they see anything that needs corrections. It should be publishable in four days. --Pmsyyz 17:21, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You told me "late November" before. Four days in Development is probably OK. --SVTCobra 17:23, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, late Nov for publishing on paper. A few days for publishing on Wikinews. --Pmsyyz 17:27, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am so glad to see that you are sticking with this story. Unfortunatly, many come to us with great story ideas, but don't follow through. I did some copy-editing and I added some Wikipedia links. I will just mention to you that (unlike Wikipedia) we don't boldface the subject of the article. I look forward to the finished product. --SVTCobra 02:13, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's December now... how are things going on this story? --Steven Fruitsmaak (Reply) 19:42, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have had to mark it as abandoned as it is to late to publish it on Wikinews. Maybe you could adjust it for wikipedia and post it there --Anonymous101 17:26, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
