Category:Archaeology

You make a good case for this, having dug up quite a few articles where it would be appropriate. However, the key problem on Wikinews is maintaining these encyclopedic categories. If you can help keep an eye out for articles where Archaeology is appropriate it would be appreciated. We really need more people from sister projects dropping by a couple times a week, reading the news, and making Wikignome edits like this. The project's core of contributors is probably <50, we need every extra pair of eyeballs we can get doing copyedit, spell-checking, and the like. --Brian McNeil / ^talk 15:13, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

Category:Anthropology and archaeology

They're almost always grouped together in the news. I grouped the categories together under the parent cat, but personally would rather keep the cats distinct. Sumerophile (talk) 19:08, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere.
