[edit] Concern
Hi,
Just been looking through this website ... found it today. Just came across the blocked list and whilst I'm intrigued by the ingenuity of sexually explicit user names, I was a bit concerned to read so many comments of "blocked for editing own talk page". This sounds to me as if someone had entered into a discussion and was being banned for having made a comment. This can't possibly be true as it would be contrary to all justice to allow others to comment to you on your talk page but be unable to comment back and/or remove comments that you don't wish to pursue.
I assume this is a mistake, and as most of what I see comes with your name, I'm leaving this comment here .... although there is this worrying thought at the back of my mind that if you get banned for leaving a comment on your own talk page, then I'm really going to get banned for leaving a comment on someone else's page!
- No, it's just dawned on me that the comment: "cannot edit userpage" is not the reason they were banned, but an instruction as to what they can't do from now. Still that is how I read it, and you might like to consider whether the ban comments might be better phrased.79.79.220.104 16:45, 5 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Dealer leads offer for Pontiac brand
You might want to check into DragonFire and his method of deleting stale articles. Some of the issue I point out to him on his talk page: Dealer_leads_offer_for_Pontiac_brand. He marked the deleting as "no context", "Nonsenses", when he admits it was just stale. The Collaboration/talk page and the article indicated that more information may be forth coming. Now there was a report in the paper today that and I guess I don't see any reason to continue to report much of anything. WikiNews could have scoop the general national press but I guess not. - Has the journal entry been entered under sources correctly?
- Everything in the article I can verify, and left a note regarding the local states, and the editor replied that he sourced the journal and the page entries, but I cannot open the journal (in English) which can be accessed via open access, I can open the abstract so far.
- Can/should the talk page entry about page numbers and percentages be entered as OR at all?
- Is there a different place I should ask these questions - water cooler &c?
- The other option I can think of is just to crop the two paragraphs in question the one now beginning Genetic diversity and Although West African which access the journal entry talked about above. All other paragraphs access other content.
- So if you read my talk page, how should I proceed for the peer review when I cannot get at the journal, but everything else is verified as OK and found in the articles, and the requested c/e went well. Is there anyone else on WN who can access journals ... I know sometimes students can.
