Wikinews:Accreditation requests/message
Requirements[edit]
To become an accredited reporter, you must satisfy the following requirements:-
- You must be an established contributor in good standing to Wikinews or another Wikimedia Foundation project
- You must have created or expanded several of your own Wikinews articles
- You must show that you have a thorough understanding of Wikinews' Neutral Point of View policy
If you do not satisfy the above requirements, it is unlikely that you will become accredited.
Procedure[edit]
In order to receive accreditation, you should submit your candidacy by filling in the form below. Once you hit submit, a seven-day time period will begin, within which the community will vote. If consensus is reached, you will become accredited. You can view your request at any time at Wikinews:Accreditation requests/message.
For ease of use, the accreditation nomination is set out as a template.

- Enter your location from whence you will be reporting after |location =.
- Type in the areas of interest of which you will be reporting after |interests =.
- Give your reason for why you desire accreditation after |reason =.

- Put the contact information that you are going to publish after |contact info =. Don't put a Wikinewsie e-mail, as you will receive that only if your accreditiation is successful.
