I believe that we have an established protocol for resolving disputes. This page is not a request for de-administration, even, it's a request for changing policy (i.e. reconfirming all the admins). Since you put that up without discussion and consensus of policy change, it's effectively a disruption of the site. Leave deleted This was deleted as a category that we don't need. Politics and conflicts is the preferred top level category into which it appears all the stories have been moved. (I rushed through the unfamiliar Wikinews:Deletion guidelines... but this seems to me to be the correct procedure.)

REASON -- This article is a copy of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wikipedia_Signpost/2006-05-08/Rankings_update, a page available under the copyleft GNU Free Documentation License. Wikinews cannot relicense it under the non-copyleft Creative Commons Attribution License. Further, the article stripped the credit to Wikipedia:User:Michael Snow, which possibly contradicts a requirement in the GNU Free Documentation License to give attribution to authors. Further, Wikinews:Content guide states that "Stories should appeal to a large number of people." This article is about the popularity of one particular web site, so my guess is that it lacks sufficient international interest. The article does not even bother to explain what "Wikipedia" is!
