Senator Ted Kennedy, a Democrat from Massachusetts has died today. He was [age]. On May 20, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. he was released from Cape Cod Hospital on May 21.

The senator was born Edward Moore Kennedy on February 22, 1932 in Boston. He had been Senator of Massacusetts serving with Senator John Kerry since 1985.

Kennedy is survived by Sisters Eunice Kennedy Shriver and Jean Ann , 5 children, and his daughter, Caroline.
