Region near Salta, Argentina hit by earthquake
An earthquake has hit the region near Salta. The earthquake, which had a magnitude of 5.1, was 150 km from Salta and 1380 km from Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina. It struck at approximately 0045 UTC today.
