UK Attorney General stops BBC report on cash-for-honours probe
The UK Attorney General Lord Goldsmith obtained an injunction from the Royal Courts of Justice in London stopping the BBC from broadcasting a report on the ongoing cash-for-honours probe involving Prime Minister Tony Blair's government.
The Attorney General's office and the Metropolitan Police issued a joint press release that the injunction was sought at the request of New Scotland Yard and was meant to avoid impeding ongoing investigations.
The BBC said that its reporting was on a matter of public interest.

Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi calls for industrialization and integration of the African economy
"We pay oil revenues to import goods from other nations, but we have to think about the day when oil is depleted," Libyan president Moammar Gadhafi noted.
Gadhafi also noted that quality roads and economic industrialization are necessary in order for Africa to be competitive in the world economy, and in order to put African in a preferable economic status.
