Friday, October 11, 2013 The 2013 Autumn Old and Antique Bookfair ((es))Spanish language: ‍Feria de Otoño del Libro Viejo y Antiguo continued on Paseo de Recoletos in Madrid, Spain yesterday with an outdoor temperature around 21C/70F and no precipitation. Running from September 26 until October 13, the first stalls are found near Plaza de Cibeles and continue to Calle Prim, running in a straight line down Paseo de Recoletos in the pedestrian walk in the center of the road.

The antique and old books fair is in its twenty-fifth edition and is one of several large bookfairs that occurs annually in Spain. While not widely known internationally, the festival of books is known nationally. Organized by The Libris Antique Books Association ((es))Spanish language: ‍La Asociación de Libreros de Viejo Libris in collaboration with the Madrid City Council, 39 book vendors are selling books at the fair from across various regions of the country including Madrid, Valencia and Zaragoza. The poster for the event was designed by Madrid comic artist Alfonso Azpiri.
