The following is a new style of Wikinews reporting or Wikinews development. It is still in the process of being created. Feel free to pitch in and help develop this idea or comment about it on the discussion page. (Please remove this tag once this page is sufficiently developed)

Note: This project is currently inactive. see also: User:Mrmiscellanious/Sandbox/WNN/About, File:WNN-TV-BETA1.ogg, commons:Category:Wikinews TV pilot, and especially Wikinews:Video 2.0.
Note: The Wikinews Report is still in pre-production, so please don't take anything here too seriously until you see the pilot episode. This page is a work-in-progress to establish a workflow process for the daily show that will be used once production of the show is approved by the community.

If you're really ambitious, you are welcome to join us as one of the anchors! Here is what you'll need to set up your studio:

Finally, for those of you who want to get involved with post-production, your compute-cycles would be appreciated to help speed up the render of the daily show composite. Or, if you're a musician, you can also help by composing a better Wikinews theme song:

To whet your appetite, here is the first minute of the pilot for the Wikinews video broadcast:

This project looks like an interesting opportunity and I am willing to compose a theme, work with any 3D graphics required and make custom transitions. I am very familiar with blender3D and Adobe After Effects.
