I discovered Wikinews in mid-March 2005 while trying to start a Wiki based news website. I had just finished getting my site set up when I found Wikinews. I was very happy to discover I would not need to be the one to start it. :) I joined Wikinews and made my first edit on March 15 2005. I became an admin on 25 May 2005. On 3 October 2005 I became a bureaucrat. I was a member of the Wikinews Arbcom and I have Checkuser status. I am also an admin on Wikibooks. On 22 Dec 2006 I became a Steward.

I currently live in South Carolina, where I work as a computer consultant/programmer.

I am interested in stories about technology, law, New Zealand and the rest of the South Pacific.
