Greetings, I'm HJ Mitchell (or just HJ). I'm not the most active contributor here, but I try to do what I can. I'm an administrator over at the [[w:|English Wikipedia]] <small>[[w:User:HJ Mitchell|my userpage over there]]</small> and a lot of my time is spent there, often dealing with current events. It's not terribly often that I a) find a story interesting enough to write about that b) hasn't already been written about so I tend to be limited to interwiki links- adding links here to content on enwiki and adding links there to content here and, since I was granted [[WN:Reviewer|reviewer]] rights, publishing and reviewing articles as well as the odd bit of copyediting. I have written a few articles, though and they're listed below. Unfortunately, writing news seems to have become a secondary goal to having the last word in the latest drama and the community spirit for which I once admired ''Wikinews'' seems to have fallen apart. Thus, my enthusiasm for the project has reduced to the extent that I'm no longer happy contributing here. I hope the project recovers from the self-destructive cycle it has fallen into and, if it does, I may resume editing here.
